Floristry Taster Course

Once you have chosen the course length we design the course around your personal requirements.
Each day would approach a different floral subject and techniques. All of these days include flowers, materials light refreshments and lunch.
1-day course will make 2 designs, 3-day course will make 6 designs and the full 5-day course will make 9 designs and include 1 large design on the last day for your social media! A show stopping piece. All items will be yours to take home, apart from the last large item, this will remain the property of The Ascot School of Floristry. Each day is an average of 4 hours long, the hours will be set depending on your needs and availability at the School. You can choose your preferred start time from 9am & 11am latest.
Please note, this course is designed for fun and to experience floristry from a hobbyist perspective. You will be shown how to make handtied bouquets, arrangements, construction of frames in a modern and traditional styles.

Flower School bookings are non-refundable. If you book a private class, it entitles you to exclusive use of the room and tutor. All sundries, flowers and foliage used in your design are yours to keep after the class depending on class type. T&C's apply. The flower school is located above the florist and is accessed via the shop. Free parking is available in the high street.
If you are choosing to have a class at your venue, please note we supply the tutor, flowers, any sundries pertaining to the bespoke item you're making, scissors, wraps etc. You will have to ensure your venue has capacity for your group, need to supply bins for waste during the event, sufficient work area's including tables for your guests, and coverings should you need to have them. Our tutors will also require access to water, if your venue has specific H&S regarding water being used please let us know, We will endeavour to have an item that will suit your needs. Please also consider chairs if any of your guests have mobility issues, classes will often require people to stand for a long time.
